I went to my first Anime Convention a few years ago, knowing very little about the Otaku. When I left, it changed my life (seriously). My one memory that really touched me is that a Nurse Joy came up to me and thanked me for making her day, and how she felt lonely and after I sang this sang, she felt like she finally belonged. I met a lot of good people, including Sneko. I finally decided to record this after about an hour of singers block. This song means a lot to me. Please comment and enjoy! I might record a longer version, tell me what you think. Thanks guys for enjoying.
NOTE: This song is not mine, it is cover and all music belongs to its original owner.

First off, i would like to thank all my fans/followers for all the support so early in the life of TokyoStateOfMind, although few, your support means so much to me. I do this for you. Its the least I can do for all your love and faith. I promise there will be gifts for you along the way. I am here to tell the current state of TokyoStateOfMind.
First off, the main project that is being worked on as we speak is coming up with a solid song repertoire. The target number is 10 for now. It seems small but many songs will be added. This is just for now, so when performances start rolling on, those 10 songs are solid enough for performing. Depending on the timing, most likely have of the solid songs will be officially released online, the other 5 being live exclusives until more songs start to pop up (and they will). I will be experimenting with many styles, going back to my metal/rock roots, along with dance songs, and ballads. If you come to my performances, you will experience many styles of music and a very energetic, yet emotional experience. My mind is full of ideas that I can’t wait to put to work. I keep promising exciting things to come and they sure will, in full force.
I am going to make my official “debut” soon and will keep you updated. I might start up a VLOG when things start building up. I am working very hard and can use all the support I can. Please spread the word, check out my little previews, leave feedback, anything you can will be greatly appreciated. On a slightly sad level, the apparel line will be pushed pack until further notice, it WILL happen. It won’t be just merchandise but its own TokyoStateOfMind line. Which is exciting. i am working with some local artists and coming up with some great ideas. I am sure to post previews of the designs as well as more previews of songs!
I am doing some fantastic photoshoots. I put together all the outfits, and each will showcase the different sides of Masahiro Wakahisa. I always wanted to do a photoshoot and now I have the chance. So pumped!
There is a basic breakdown of what is too come. Hope you all are excited as much as me! I can’t wait to meet you all and thank you personally.
You Raise Me Up has always been a song very close to my heart. When I heard the Japanese version, i was taken a back. It was so beautiful, so touching, I cried. I promised myself I would record this in honour of a loved one. Here is a rough unmixed clip of the song. It is a little rough, a given, but it gives a little taste of whats to come. Thank you very much for listening.
Here it is! The re-recorded version of Oblivious, the first song I ever recorded. Pumped it up a little bit with new recording equipment and software. As of now this is the definitive version of this song, but things can change…hahaha…Enjoy! Comments welcome
Hello viewers, listeners, and other types of amazing people,
This is (Masa)Hiro checking in again. I would first off like to apologize for all this lateness. It isn’t really like me and I guess i get too excited on somethings. But all is well my friends all is well. Some major new things are happening. Along with an amazing time at my school, TokyoStateOfMind keeps getting more epic and more motivating. I got brand new quality recording software and microphones. The new song will be much more improved from the original recordings (which are now an official “rarities”. for now…haha). Also, I am currently doing a great professional photoshoot and making all exciting goodies. I am also collaborating with a fellow artist on the TokyosStateOfMind T-shirt line that is sure to be quite exciting. I really hope you all keep up, there will be video blogs, reviews (maybe) and other amazing goodies. I am finally going to live my dream, but with your help. Please spread the word. Please follow me on tumblr and Twitter. Join the Facebook fan page. Subscribe to the Youtube account. this is all up to you guys. i am doing this for you. thank you very much. Thank you soo much!
Wow! It has been a heck of week! With classes, work, and procrastination, it is quite tiring. But, the good thing is, I have been hard at work on TokyoStateOfMind and have come up with a lot of projects and business plans that are sure to send TSOM to the top. Once I release the first line of t-shirts (Name of the line coming soon), I will begin to tour various conventions when I have free time and start making appearances and live performances. It all is exciting. The Love Is War EP has been pushed back, but we will see a major single release from it next week. At the end of the weekend, a fantastic recording of my current favorite song. Its so beautiful, new, and I am so happy to honour the original version. i am giving this one my all. The emotion fuels through my body, heart, and now through my voice. I am so excited for everyone to hear it. Hopefully by this, i can get more subscribers and more fans to help me live my dream. i am shaking from anticipation. YAY!!!!
